I originally started this career as a hobbyist in traditional art in DeviantArt since November 2011 as MaeriGreisu17.Art, particularly drawing and illustrating has been my prime talent since young, even before I started showcasing in the Internet, and through the years I had been developing this talent slowly but steadily, while adapting to newer media to further enhance my creations, from the simple pencil and paper, to the complex creative features of digital art, for more than a decade and going.For the most part, I do fanart of characters from some popular, or particularly my favorite, video games and/or anime/cartoon, or characters from popular franchise, which have been the major influence and inspiration of my art style. While I have made an image with doing mostly fanart, I'm always looking for newer ways and inspirations to draw and explore beyond making just fanart as many would appreciate. Something more focused on original, concept, and scenic genre to truly test my hands and exceed my limits.I have a dream as an artist, and that is, one day, to work with developing video games, particularly to work with Pokémon, and become one of its many, many artists. Or become a live-streamer! That, and one day I would be more than capable of helping those in need.Though the journey won't ever be as easy, due to the trials and tribulations every human artist have to face, such as pandemic, art thefts, issues with social media, and the dreaded rise of Artificial Intelligence-generated pictures its supporters claim to be art, I will not stop drawing, and hold steadfast to my dreams...Thank you for visiting my portfolio and have a great day!-Mearii
